Travelling to the workshop venue
We advise all participants to travel to the workshop venue with the subway train (U-Bahn), line U6. The U-Bahn stations in Garching amnd Garching-Hochbrück are centrally located and within close reach of all hotels and are indicated with a large blue "U"-sign.
Take the U-Bahn line U6, with destination "Garching Forschungszentrum" (Garching Research Campus) - this is the last stop on the line. Exit the station at the rear end of the train, go up the stairs towards the street, straight on for about 500 meters (see also this map). On your left you will find ESO with the gradual gangway to the main reception desk after entering ESO premises.
