In order to ensure the integrity of the internal MIDAS keyword data base,
there are no interfaces to create a new keyword. Instead, you have to use the
relevant MIDAS commands (e.g., WRITE/KEY or COPY/KEY - see Chapter 3 Vol.A
of the MIDAS User Guide).
Note
Many keyword interface routines use a UNIT and a NULL parameter.
These parameters are currently not used, but just serve as placeholders, so
that you will not have to change your code once we implement that functionality
in the MIDAS environment.
