Executing Commands

Application programs can send complete MIDAS commands to a background MIDAS via the XCCSND interface. The application may or may not wait for the execution of these commands. In case the command was sent without wait to the MIDAS server, the XCCWAI interface can be used to synchronize the application by explicitely waiting for the termination of the last command sent.
