MIDAS for Solaris

Dear Midas community,


I apologize if this is a trivial question.


Anyway, I tried to install the binary files for MIDAS  01SEP for
Solaris. We are using a Sparcstation 4 with Solaris 5.7.  The output of
the "uname -a" command is: SunOS Sun 5.7 Generic_106541-02 sun4m sparc
SUNW,SPARCstation-4

However, both the versions for Solaris 6 and Solaris 8 do not work when
we try to execute *.exe files. We always get the following error
message:
Midas 002> stat/ima
(ERR) Problems in executing /midas/01SEPpl1.3/prim/exec/statis.exe
Exec format error


Could anyone help us?
