Ok, thank you very much Klaus. I would have expected however that Midas would include (not the commercial library NAG), but the .exe. I realize that now this is probably commercial too. I anticipate the same problem exists with the package "fitting to data" (fit/tab ...) which probably makes ample calls to nag. michel
