My duties at ESO include assembly, integration, and tests of the curvature adaptive optics systems (MACAO) built for the VLT interferometer on Cerro Paranal, Chile. My scientific focus is on AO assisted observations (near-infrared imaging and spectroscopy) of young stellar objects, above all on systems with infrared companions.
