2012-05-22: The QC cluster (compute platform for QC services) is currently not available. The HC monitors for OMEGACAM, VIRCAM and HAWKI will be frozen until about 2012-05-25.
Because of some problems with the detector windowing, in some cases the K band spectrum in Low resolution does not reach the full spectral coverage as specified in the user manual (2.5microns).
The cutoff in the K band for the setup Low_JHK needs to be monitoredi for the
night time calibration.
Night P2VM_cutoff (plots 1 2 and 3):
Plot 1 2 and r32 monitor the P2VM taken
for the calibration of night time observations (template : AMBER_3Tstd_acq)
Only the LR set-up (plot 1) is scored.
Day P2VM_cutoff (plot 4):
AMBER is not fully initialized for the P2VM taken during the day (with the template
AMBER_gen_cal_p2vm), the cutoff can be lower than the expected 2.5 in the
LR.
The plots 3 and 4 are not scored
WINDOW_K:
The plots are displayed for calibrator objects (CAL) and science objects (SCI) for both VM and SMi programs. The plot marked 60.A shows the data taken for instrument monitoring.
The science objects and SM/VM calibrators with a cutoff < 2.35 microns are marked. The SM observations with a cutoff wavelength smaller than 2.35 should be repeated
WINDOW_DET:
Some values of the Detector windowing are monitored to check for correlations
General information
Click on any of the plots to see a close-up version.
If applicable, the latest values from Paranal ops logs are plotted as blue dots. More information about those values, including a download option, is available in the OPS column.
The latest date is indicated on top of the plot, data points belonging to that date are specially marked.
If configured,
statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the
threshold lines
"aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow (↑ or ↓)
you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
