QC parameters is derived from each detector of daily photometric standard star calibrations.

Note: Photometric standard standard star fields are acquired in AO.PRIORITY = NORMAL. This means the contraints

  • altitute difference between last telescope active optics loop and the photometric standard star field observations | TEL.AO.ALT - TEL.ALT | < DELTA.ALT degrees.
  • time between last telescope active optics loop and photometric standard star field observation ( DATE-OBS - TEL.AO.DATE ) < T minutes
do not apply.

Fig. 2. Resolved View: The QC parameter resolved for all detectors.
Fig. 3. Scatter View: The standard deviation of the QC parameter, obtained from the sample of all detectors. This view is sensitive changes of individual detectors.
Fig. 4. Scoring View: Scoring values of all 16 QC parameters. Green = within the acceptance thresholds. Red = beyond the acceptance thresholds.

If applicable, the latest values from Paranal ops logs are plotted as blue dots. More information about those values, including a download option, is available in the OPS column.

The latest date is indicated on top of the plot, data points belonging to that date are specially marked.

If configured,

  • statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
  • outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the threshold lines
  • "aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow ( or )
  • you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
