  • recipe name:xsh_mbias
  • input raw frames: BIAS_<arm> (arm = UVB/VIS)
Purpose: Creates a master bias from a set of raw bias frames

Description: The master bias is created from a set of raw bias frames, of which a median is calculated with cosmic ray rejection. During that process hot and cold pixels are flagged and stored in bad pixel maps.
