Use Case:  Install Pointing Model

Description:  A pointing model is installed so that the tracking system can use it.

Role(s)/Actor(s): 
Primary: Operator, Maintenance

Priority:  Critical

Performance:  some seconds

Frequency:  every day at beginning of the night

Package Assignment:  Pointing Modelling.

Preconditions:

• Pointing model available

• Select telescope specific pointing model
  Alternate Course: Merge with location specific model
  
  • Select location specific pointing model
  • Merge with telescope specific pointing model
• Install new pointing model
• ATCS replaces currently used model with the freshly installed one
  Postcondition: Current pointing model is replaced
  

Postconditions:

• Selected pointing model ready for use by tracking axes
