Use Case:  Configure AT to Relocation State

Description:  Before any relocation, the AT is configured from its present state to a ready-to-be-relocated state, necessary to start a safe relocation procedure.

Role(s)/Actor(s): 
Primary: Operator, Maintenance

Priority: Major

Performance: Some minutes

Frequency:  Every time the AT is to be relocated

Package Assignment:  Mode Switching.

Preconditions: 

• ATCS is Day-Time Standby state
• AT is in PARK position

Basic Course: 

• Send command RELOBST to go to relocation state.
  This state is a virtual state seen as a qualifier of the OFF state.
• ATCS performs ATCS Shutdown procedure.

Postconditions: 

• Telescope is in ready-to-be-relocated state
• All computers ready to be powered off, but still ready to be reconfigured to desired state with Configure AT to desired state after relocation.

Issues to be Determined or Resolved: 

Notes:If Relocation is foreseen in the schedule, the system is put at the end of the night to Relocation state. That is starting AC (setting a reference temperature) and shutting down the software via ATCS Shutdown. After that, the software doesn't care anylonger about AC. The relocation operator can come at any time during the following morning to manually turn off AC and start the relocation. So that no Computer interaction is needed by this operator. In case of power-off, the implications with respect to the LCUs has to be investigated.
