ESO Outreach Community Newsletter
March 2014

Dear Fellow Communicators,

Have you figured out how you can benefit from the ESO Ultra HD expedition that is fast approaching?

If not, we invite you to follow our updates on the dedicated blog, where our crew members share tips and tricks about astrophotography and taking 4K footage, describe their preparations and introduce you to the sites they will be visiting! You can also follow their progress via the dedicated Twitter hashtag #ESOultraHD.

You may want to let your astrophotographer friends and colleagues know about the chance to win a trip to ESO’s Very Large Telescope in Chile. Learn more here.

We have added a new product to our collection called ePublication — basically an interactive PDF brochure meant for onscreen reading. The first product presents the ESO Ultra HD Expedition to potential partners.

Finally, we would like to inform you that we have moved our Hubble Facebook activities from our Hubble Personal Account to our Hubble Facebook Page (accounts are for individuals only). We invite you to “like” our page to stay up to date with news from ESA/Hubble!

Let’s reach new heights in astronomy together,

Lars Lindberg Christensen (lars@eso.org)
Head, ESO education and Public Outreach Department (ePOD)
