REM telescope on La Silla
The REM, a 60cm telescope installed on La Silla, is operated as a robot: it performs its observations without human interventions. Additionally, this telescope is waiting for notice of Gamma Ray Bursts sent by other facilities monitoring the sky. When such news reaches the REM, it can react instantly and start observing the GRB explosion in a matter of seconds, before the end of the phenomena.
