The AMBER pipeline is still under development. This version of the pipeline is based on the librairies provided by the consortium (AmdLib 2.0).
- CALIBRATION
DATA
- Detector Calibration data:
These data have been recorded at the beginning of the AMBER operations and products were provided to ESO by the consortium. These data are used to calibrate the observations and are distributed with the SM data packages.
- Internal Calibration data:
Raw files associated with the P2VM measurements are processed with the pipeline (recipe amber_p2vm) and results in a P2VM products. This P2VM is calibrated with the associated set of spectral calibration data (if the raw files were recorded) or with a spectral calibration static table.
- Astronomical Calibration data:
The recipe used to reduce astronomical calibration data is identical to the one used to reduce science data
- "amber_SciCal" which calculate an uncalibrated Visibility
using the OBJECT raw files. The background is removed using the files "SKY and DARK". The associated P2VM is use
d to calibrate the fringes.
The final products are: a set of FITS files containing dispersed visibilities per band with primary headers
containing a set of QC Paramaters
, a set of plots (Visibilities, SNR, flux, piston)
- SCIENCE
DATA
The recipe used to produce science data is :
- "amber_SciCal" which calculate an uncalibrated Visibility
using the OBJECT raw files. The background is removed using the files "SKY and DARK". The associated P2VM is used to calibrate the fringes.
The final products are: a set of FITS files containing dispersed visibilities per band with primary headers
