FORS2 moved to UT1-Antu June 1, 2004: FORS2 has been moved from UT4-Yepun to UT1-Antu. First TEST data after telescope change have been obtained on June 5, 2004. Mirror recoating October 8, 2003: The UT4 main mirror (M1) has been recoated. New CCD mounted March 22, 2002: FORS2 has been upgraded with a new red/IR-optimized MIT mosaic CCD. First observations with the new detector have been obtained on April 1, 2002. FORS2 moved to UT4-Yepun May 2001: FORS2 has been moved from UT2-Kueyen to UT4-Yepun. First data after telescope change have been obtained on June 5, 2001.
