Building the ESO 3.6-metre telescope
Unpacking the blank for the 3.6-m mirror at REOSC, Ballainvilliers, near Paris, France, in 1967. The ESO 3.6-metre Telescope was inaugurated at La Silla Observatory, in Chile, in 1976.
