EURO-VO AIDA Research
The European Virtual Observatory (EURO-VO) project, within the framework of Astronomical Infrastructure for Data Access (AIDA), met at ESO in April 2009. The international Virtual Observatory initiative aims to allow global electronic access to large astronomical data archives, such as that of ESO and the Hubble Space Telescope, while promoting the standardisation of data archival.
