UT 1 Recoated
The cell of the primary mirror (M1) is being reinstalled at the VLT's Antu telescope (Unit Telescope 1, or UT1) after a mirror recoating. The 45-tonne M1 cell is moved into the enclosure of the telescope with the yellow platform lift. This recoating of UT1 took place on 24 November 2010.
