Use Case:  Ignore/Un-ignore Sub-System

Description:  Individual sub-systems can be ignored to operate the telescope in degraded mode, e.g. if these sub-systems are temporarily unavailable. The ignored sub-systems do not contribute to the telescope state and are also ignored in operations that are normally performed with them. It allows still to operate the telescope.

Primary: Operator, Maintenance

Priority: Critical.

Performance: 2 seconds.

Frequency: At any time.

Package Assignment:  Mode Switching.

Preconditions: 

Basic Course: 

• Select sub-system(s) that shall be ignored or not ignored

  from ATCS Control GUI

• ATCS performs ATCS Global system state update

Postconditions: 

• The ignored sub-systems do not contribute to the Global State evaluation.
