Description:  Stop Autoguiding

Priority: Major

Performance: A couple of seconds

Frequency: Before a preset when autoguiding was active, or at any time manually or when AG conditions are not met.

Package Assignment:  Auto Guiding.

Preconditions: 

• FAS is ONLINE

Basic Course: 

• Send command STOPAG to stop Autoguiding
  Exception Course: Command failed
• ATCS Stop Field Acquisition sending STPWAIT command to FAS
  Exception Course: Command failed
• ATCS cancels the TRS timer for the Auto Guiding Loop
  Exception Course: Command failed
• re-Start Field Acquisition
  with full frame setup.
  Exception Course: Command failed
  Postcondition: FAS active full frame + display
• ATCS returns OK reply

Exception Course: Command failed

• ATCS returns ERROR reply

Postconditions: 

• AG is idle
• FAS is active (Full frame + display)

Issues to be Determined or Resolved:  None

Notes: The STOPAG command is used to stop both Auto Guiding and Field Stabilization, which ever of the two is active when the command is active.
No action occurs if none is active.
