IFU and ARGUS calibration frames

Note that for the fiber flats and arcs for the IFU modes, the appearence and counts are different depending on which plate (1 or 2) is used. ARGUS data only use plate 2.

Due to the large number of possible wavelength settings (22 HR settings + 8 LR settings for 3 slits, which makes [22+8]x3 = 90 settings in IFU and ARGUS), only a selected few are displayed here. The counts should not exceed around 60,000 ADU on the GIRAFFE CCD. In the bluest settings, the counts may be as low as 4,000 ADU, even using long integration times. Counts much below this should be flagged, as they could indicate problems with the lamp.

In the IFU modes, each of the bundles is made up of many fibers, as is apparent by looking at the cross-cuts on the example images. The cuts are very different when plate 1 and plate 2 are compared.

Note that for ARGUS, only plate 2 is used.
