Detector Bad Pixel Map and Flat Field Map
For AMBER, there is no DARK taken as daily calibration. The dark frames are taken as full frame during the actual observation run. It is also possible to skip this full frame dark and use the dark channel (on the left most side of the CCD chip) which is part of the science image. In this case the accuracy will be reduced.
The calibrations taken for the detector are Bad Pixel Map (BPM) and Flat Field Map (FFM)
The detector calibrations files should be taken at least once each period or when there is an intervention. The images shown here are maybe not the up to date ones. You can retrieve the latest fits files here
Availibility of BPM FFM
The BPM and FFM used to reduce the data (fits files) are available hereData should be taken at least at the beginning of each period or after a detector intervention.
