Two modes for SCIENCE data are defined: SCIENCE_SW: short wavelength, with INS.WLEN.REF <= 2400 nm; separate wavelength calibration (ThAr/gas cell) required SCIENCE_LW: long wavelength, with INS.WLEN.REF > 2400 nm; separate wavelength calibration not required
Please note that the CRIRES calChecker is not configured to check whether telluric standard stars belonging to science observations
are measured. Tellurics are only measured upon request by the PI, usually with OBs provided by the PI.
The following keys are used to define CRIRES SCIENCE setups:
