QC1PARAM QC1 parameters written in QC1 database:
QC1 DB names: sens_mean | sens_median | sens_stdev | backgd_mean | xcentroi | xfwhm | xc | xcshift |
xcwlen | xcdispx0 | xcdispx1
All parameters are calculated by the pipeline recipe.
ALGORITHM Description of algorithms:
sens_mean: mean sensitivity across the spectral range.
Sensitivity is the estimated limiting flux expected in an 1 hour integration of a point source detected with S/N of 10. Units: mJy at 10 sigma in 1 hr
sens_median: median sensitivity of the spectrum
sens_stdev: standard deviation of the spectral sensitivities
backgd_mean: estimated mean of the background
xcentroi: cross-dispersion position of the spectrum
xfwhm: FWHM (in pixels) of the spectral profile at xcentroi
xc: cross-correlation from the wavelength calibration of the oberserved vs. model sky spectrum
xcshift: shift (in pixel) of the model spectrum that maximizes the cross correlation
xcwlen: wavelength (in micro metre) of the central pixel of wavelength-calibrated spectrum
xcdispx0: constant term of the dispersion solution (microns)
xcdispx1: linear term of the dispersion solution (microns/pixel)
CERTIF Reasons for rejection:
extremely low flux or invisible object
