INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO UVES
UVES Echelle [ECH] data
ECH SCIENCE have DPR.CATG=="SCIENCE", DPR.TYPE like "OBJECT%" and DPR.TECH=="ECHELLE".
The following keys are used to define ECH SCIENCE setups:
DET.CHIPS 1 = Blue_ECH, 2 = Red_ECH. In addition, for Blue settings, if INS.GRAT1.WLEN<360.0nm then it is classified Extremely_Blue_ECH while for Red settings, if DPR.TECH=="ECHELLE,ABSORPTION-CELL" then it is classified Absorp_Cell_Red_ECH
Readout Mode One of 225kHz,1x1,low, 50kHz,2x2,high, 225kHz,1x2,low, 50kHz,2x3,high or 625kHz,1x1,low. Determined from DET.WIN1.BINX, DET.WIN1.BINY and DET.READ.SPEED
INS.MODE Instrument mode: BLUE|RED|DICHR#1|DICHR#2
INS.SLIT1.NAME Slicer one of SLIC#1, SLIC#2 or SLIC#3
INS.GRAT1.WLEN [BLUE] or INS.GRAT2.WLEN [RED] Central Wavelength setting, e.g. 346.0, 390.0, 437.0, 5200.0, 580.0, 600.0, ... INS.SLIT2.WID [BLUE] or INS.SLIT3.WID [RED] Slit width in arcsec to 2 d.p.

FLAMES/UVES Multi-Object Spectroscopic [MOS] data
MOS SCIENCE have DPR.CATG=="SCIENCE", DPR.TYPE=="OBJECT,OzPos" and DPR.TECH=="MOS".
SimCal_MOS SCIENCE have DPR.CATG=="SCIENCE", DPR.TYPE=="OBJECT,SimCal" and DPR.TECH=="MOS".
Only the RED arm is used for MOS observations.
The following keys are used to define FLAMES/UVES SCIENCE setups:
Readout Mode One of 225kHz,1x1,low, 50kHz,2x2,high, 225kHz,1x2,low, 50kHz,2x3,high or 625kHz,1x1,low. Determined from DET.WIN1.BINX, DET.WIN1.BINY and DET.READ.SPEED (In practice for MOS only 225kHz,1x1,low is allowed)
INS.SLIT3.MODE Instrument mode: 6FIB|7+1FIB|8FIB
INS.SLIT3.PLATE Plate, 1 or 2
INS.GRAT2.WLEN Central Wavelength setting, 520, 580, 860
