Useful Scripts

The follwing scripts are available:

• IRAF Scripts:
  • bgsub.cl: do background subtractions
  • crosstalk.cl: correct for the interquadrant row cross talk effect
  • illumination.cl: illumination.cl: do an illumination correction
  • special_flat.cl: make a special flat
  To define the IRAF scripts, use:
  task special_flat=/home/.../special_flat.cl
  task crosstalk=/home/.../crosstalk.cl
  

  The full path is not necessary if the script resides in the current directory.

• MIDAS Scripts
  • midas_specialflat.prg: reduce the Special Dome Flat
• Tool for solar type telluric standard processing from Maiolino, Rieke & Rieke (1996, AJ, 111, 537):
  • Solar.tar.gz
