This plot
The vircam domeflat pipeline recipe allows for PRO.CATG=REFERENCE_DOME_FLAT
products as input in order to generate a RATIO_DOMEFLAT product. The
REFERENCE_DOME_FLATs in use are updated from time to time, and they are independent from
the reference frames shown in the RAWDISP tool. The IDs of the REFERENCE_DOME_FLAT prodcuts are
available in the QC1 DB. The instrumental signature 'pixel-to-pixel
gain difference', also called fixed pattern noise, is eliminated in
ratio dome flats. The remaining signatures beyond photon noise are the
variations of the detector gain and non-linearity per channel.
MASTER_DOME_FLAT products are corrected via the MASTER_CHANNEL_TABLE,
a non-linearity correction table generated by the linearity recipe;
the linearity calibration is repeated once a week.
So far RATIO_DOMEFLAT products are used to monitor the non-linearity correction
at ~5000 ADU.
The QC1 parameter channelRMS is the RMS over a sample of 16 channel median values of the RATIO_DOMEFLAT.
