Test the monochromator
To test the precision of the monochromator, you can use the low pressure zinc lamp in the test bench (somewhere....).
The emission lines are very well known and so, you can see easily if the monochromator is out of order.
A PRiSM script is here to help you.
Only launch the monochromator and the ke6514 ammeter in PRiSM and launch the "testTestBenchMonochromator.pgm" script.
After a while, you will appear a graphic curve like the following one, with a lot lot of peak corresponding to the emission lines.
If the the peaks does not correspond to the emission lines, the monochromator is out of order.
principal peaks :
636.2nm
481.1nm
472.2nm
466.0nm
334.6nm
330.3nm
328.2nm
307.6nm
