This plot

The MUSE STDTHRU health check plot shows throughput of the instrument measured from observations of the spectrophotometric standard stars. The thoughput is estimated in different wavelength bands +/- 100 A wide centered at: 5000 A, 7000 A, 8000 A and 9000 A. The 6000 A band is not used as it is affected by the presence of Na Notch filters in the AO mode. The upper panels show values derived from observations in WFM-NOAO-N (left) and WFM-NOAO-E (right) instrumental modes, middle paneles from data obtained in WFM-AO-N (left) and WFM-AO-E (right) modes, while bottom panel, from data in NFM-AO-N mode. Only data points determined from calibrations taken in the read out mode (DET.READ.CURNAME) SCI1.0 are selected.

The STDTHRU calibration data are taken with template TPL.ID=MUSE_wfm_cal_specphot

General information

Click on any of the plots to see a close-up version.

The latest date is indicated on top of the plot.

If configured,

  • data points belonging to the latest date are specially marked
  • statistical averages are indicated by a solid line, and thresholds by broken lines
  • outliers are marked by a red asterisk. They are defined as data points outside the threshold lines
  • "aliens" (= data points outside the plot Y limits) are marked by a red arrow ( or )
  • you can download the data for each parameter set if the 'Data downloads' link shows up
