Nový působivý snímek kosmických oblaků v souhvězdí Orion odhaluje strukturu připomínající ohnivý pás. Oranžové tóny reprezentují slabé okem nepozorovatelné infračervené vyzařování prachových zrn ukrytých v chladném mezihvězdném plynu. Pozorování provedl dalekohled APEX (Atacama Pathfinder Experiment), který v Chile provozuje ESO.
