Instrument on the ESO 3.6-metre telescope
The ESO 3.6-metre telescope is based at La Silla Observatory; it's main goals are to search for exoplanets and to do asteroseismology. The instrument shown here is EFOSC2, the ESO Faint Object Spectrograph and Camera. EFOSC2 is a versatile instrument for low resolution spectroscopy and imaging.
