ALMA antenna assembly
Engineers Wilson Hermosilla (L) and Christian Cofre (R) inspect the dish of one of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) antennas. Every antenna is calibrated and tested at the Operations Support Facility (OSF), located at an altitude of 2900 metres, before being moved to the 5100-metre high Array Operations Site (AOS).
