ALMA antenna maintenance

Engineers tend to one of the North American-made 12-metre antennas that comprise the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). Located 5000 metres up on Chajnantor Plateau in northern Chile, the oxygen deprived atmosphere of the Array Operations Site (AOS) makes any maintenance hard work.
