APEX antenna
The 12-metre dish of the APEX telescope is located on the Chajnantor plateau, which is also the site of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). APEX was a pathfinder for ALMA and is based on a prototype antenna constructed for the ALMA project.
