Reverse Unit Telescope
ESO's Very Large Telescope at Paranal Observatory in Chile is comprised of four large Unit Telescopes (UTs), and some smaller Auxiliary Telescopes. This image shows a couple of the UTs, one facing away. As the sun sets at Paranal, their mission begins.
