PRIMA DDL Final Design Review
The Final Design Review (FDR) for the Differential Delay Lines (DDL) for the Phase Referenced Imaging and Micro-arcsecond Astrometry (PRIMA) instrument in July 2006. PRIMA will enhance the capabilities of the Very Large Telescope Interferometer (VLTI) at Paranal for 'faint science' by enabling long exposure times with stable fringes on the science object of interest in the sky.
