Road to ALMA
One of the 12-metre diameter antennas that comprise the Atacama Large Millimetre/submillimetre Array (ALMA) sits by a road in the foreground of the Array Operations Site (AOS) Technical Building. Both are located on Chajnantor Plateau, high up in the Chilean Atacama desert.
