This video taken in 1998 shows the FORS instrument, the visual and near UV FOcal Reducer and low dispersion Spectrograph for the Very Large Telescope (VLT) of the European Southern Observatory (ESO). There are two versions of FORS: FORS1 is installed on the VLT's second main unit telescope UT2 (Kueyen), while the FORS2 is installed on UT1 (Antu).
