HARPS Dark Current Monitoring

Dark current and cosmic rays rate

Following is the plot of the time evolution of the detector dark current and the rate of cosmic rays impinging on the detectors.
These data are extracted from the output of the pipeline processed afternoon calibrations, according to the HARPS calibration plan.
Values plotted are average of both CCDs.
