WFI Protective Shutter Remote Control

On the same ADAM-6060 module used to to do the remote filter wheel unit reset,  commands and satus readout for the WFI protective shutter were implemented. Also an additional selection switch was installed in the controller to define the LOCAL or REMOTE shutter control mode.

Procedure

  1. On WFI Filter and shutters controller set control mode switch to REMOTE
  2. Back to RITS 220 Operation PC and check the ADAM I/O interface running
  3. Select the Filter Wheel Adam-6060 (134.171.122.203)
  4. Check Digital Intput bit DI-2 OFF (Remote mode)
  5. To Open or Close use the following outputs bits sequences:

  3. Wait shutter State OPEN
  4. DO-3 OFF
  5. DO-2 OFF

CLOSE
