Uusi kuva ESOn La Sillan observatoriolta Chilestä esittää kirkasta tähtijoukkoa Messier 7. Se löytyy helposti paljaalla silmällä Skorpionin tähdistön hännän läheltä ja se on yksi huomattavimpia tähtitaivaan avoimia tähtijoukkoja, mistä syystä se on tärkeä tähtitieteen tutkimuskohde.
