Fantastical Mr Fox
Relaxing in front of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array sits a culpeo — an Andean fox. The second largest canid in South America after the maned wolf, Andean foxes are a common sight at all ESO Observatories in Chile. One such fox lives at the ALMA Antenna Operations Site, about 5000 metres above sea level, on the Chajnantor plateau.
