QUEST camera
The 10-square-degree QUEST camera, installed inside the 1.0-metre ESO Schmidt telescope at La Silla.
In 2009, the ESO 1.0-metre Schmidt telescope at La Silla was awakened from an 11 year slumber. The telescope had been decommissioned in 1998 after completing a photographic survey of the southern hemisphere. It has now been given a new life with the installation of Yale University’s 160 megapixel QUEST camera
