Reflections off the Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope
The Swedish–ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST) reflects brilliantly in this sunlit photo from La Silla Observatory, Chile. The SEST was built on behalf of the Swedish Natural Science Research Council (NFR) and ESO, but was decommissioned in 2003, to be superseded by APEX, and ALMA, on Chajnantor.
