A Power-generating Set for VLT
This photograph shows one of the three generating sets that will constitute the electric power station of the ESO Paranal Observatory of the Very Large Telescope Observatory (VLT). The image was taken on March 18, 1997, when it was undergoing technical acceptance tests on the premises of the manufacturer SDMO located in Brest, France.
