La Residencia

This 360 degree panorama was taken from one of the top level hallways of La Residencia, at Paranal Observatory. La Residencia is the place for those working at Paranal to relax and take shelter from the harsh environment outside. To the left of the image, in the background, you can see the garden which, along with the swimming pool, helps to maintain a certain amount of humidity in the building. Making life a little more comfortable in one of the driest places on earth.
