Zooming in on the star formation region Gum 41

This zoom sequence starts with a broad view of the Milky Way and closes in on one of the more spectacular sections in the constellation of Centaurus (The Centaur). In the final sequence we see the star formation region known as Gum 41 in a new image from the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at the La Silla Observatory in Chile.
