Introduction

SPARTA is a scalable hard- and software platform for Adaptive Optics (AO) Real-Time Computer (RTC) applications. The development of the system has two main objectives:

The SPARTA project is led and developed by ESO with the collaboration of University of Durham.

At the moment it is foreseen to use SPARTA with the following applications: GALACSI (MUSE), GRAAL (HAWK-I), SPHERE
