The scope of this Call for Tender is to procure outreach and communications consultancy for ESO’s Department of Communication and Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre during the timeframe from 01.01.2021 until 31.12.2021, with a possible extension of one further year, until 31.12.2022.

The scope of work which is estimated to require approximately 5,780 hours per year covers regular support in the following areas:

- web content support (estimated hours/year: 2000)

- web development (estimated hours/year: 960)

- graphic design support for printed and online products and power point presentations (estimated hours/year: 440)

- community coordination and social media content production (estimated hours/year: 1800)

- coordination and support for public information and outreach (estimated hours/ year: 400)

- proof-reading services (estimated hours/ year: 180)

The services are expected to start on 1 January 2021.

The work packages are to be performed remotely, with some exceptional meetings at ESO sites or travel to international conferences or partner institutions.

The Call for Tender is scheduled to be issued in Q2 2020 to companies in the ESO Member States.

The contract is expected to be awarded in Q3/2020 to the Bidder which has submitted a fully compliant tender and offers the best value for money for ESO, taking into account the quality and price of the Tender.
