The scope of this Request for Information (RFI) is to investigate the availability of companies that can provide combined services including printing, distribution, packaging and postage for the five core printing products of ESO: The Annual Report, The Messenger, Calendar, Posters and Business Cards.

The contract and service period would run for 2+1 years, starting from 01.01.2021.

The products are:

·        -    Annual Report: Produced once per year. Services required include printing, packaging, national & international shipping + delivery to ESO Garching, Germany.

·         -   The Messenger: Four issues/year: Services required include printing, packaging, national and international shipping + delivery to ESO Garching

·        -    Posters: Several times throughout year. Services required are printing and delivery to ESO Garching.

·        -    Business cards: Several times throughout year. Services required include printing and delivery to ESO Garching.

The RFI is scheduled to be issued in Q3 2020 to companies in the ESO Member States that are able to provide the above services.

Depending on the outcome of the RFI, ESO might release a Call for Tender in Q3 with an award in Q4 2020 to the bidder that has submitted a fully compliant tender and offers the best value for money for ESO, taking into account the quality and price of the Tender.
